So many people are hating on her show in the comment section of the Chad trailer. I love Nasim and I love the show. That fact that she is 39 and playing a 14 year old boy makes it that much funnier. She comes from sketch comedy on SNL so all she did was turn a bit into a TV series. Some people just don't get it and are taking themselves way too seriously. I think Nasim is very funny.

Sorry to say though but this new show “Chad” is really awful it’s just not funny at all and super cringe. I don’t understand what is the point that the writers were trying to make and honestly as a fellow Persian myself that actually made me a little irritated and upset.

"super cringe", that is what they were going for. It was an attempt to do a sitcom based on cringe humor, the comedy style isn't being picked up by people though and they are just confused. Give them props for the attempt in doing something different, but it did not execute properly.

I cannot WAIT to see this show EXPLODE in her face. Pedrad should have used an unknown as the lead, instead of trying to pull of a Liz Taylor (old people remember her trying to pull off a 30 plus in a soap opera back in the day. Didn't bode well.) A 40 year old cannot pull off being a 14 year old. Period. Plus she looks like a trans person whos mother looks younger than she/he is.
